Rectory Farm Tea Rooms

Morwenstow sits about as far north as Cornwall goes, and the 13th century farmhouse at its heart has the fabric to prove it: slate floors, open fires, antique furnishings and oak beams salvaged from ships wrecked on the coast below. The cliffs and their Atlantic views are a ten minute level walk away, which makes this one of the few tea rooms where the setting genuinely earns the detour rather than just decorating it.

Food is homemade on site, using locally sourced produce where possible, and runs beyond cream teas to a fuller menu. There is a separate wheat, gluten and dairy free menu, which coeliac visitors are notably grateful for, and the team will talk you through allergens if you ask. Dogs are welcome in the garden but not inside, as the interior is small. The 2026 season opens daily from 11am on Saturday 14th March.
