Norton Barton Farm sits above the sea on the north Cornish coast, and since 2011 it has been the base for a charcuterie operation that starts with its own Cornish Lop pigs, reared on site. Owned by Richard and Fionagh Harding, the farm was granted Food Enterprise Zone status in 2015, one of only two in Cornwall, and shares its ground with Popti Cornish Bakehouse and The Cornish Distilling Co.
The range covers British pates, rillettes and cured meats, with recognition from both Taste of the West and the Great Taste Awards, and it reaches farm shops, delis and restaurants across the UK. There is also a cafe and farm shop on the farm, open Thursday to Saturday 08:30 to 18:00 and Sunday 12:00 to 16:00. Go on a Sunday and you can pick up the bakehouse crackers and the distillery's rum in the same trip.
