The first lockdown of 2020 gave a group of long time friends the time to talk properly about the food and drink they loved, and out of those conversations came a coffee roastery on the edge of Dartmoor. Two of them are brothers, and both had travelled widely enough to have opinions about what different beans can do. Hand-roasting in Devon was the logical next step rather than a lockdown whim.

Everything is 100% Arabica, roasted by hand, and split between single origins and a blend. The single origin range runs at £20 a bag and covers Colombian and Peruvian, both organic and Fairtrade, Nicaraguan, and a Rainforest Alliance El Salvador, with SCA scores in the mid 85s.
