Flapjackery - Tavistock Shop

Food hygiene rating: 5 out of 5

The first Flapjackery shop opened in March 2019 in Tavistock, the company's home town on the edge of Dartmoor, as a place to show off their flavours and try out new ideas. The premise is narrow and well judged: flapjacks, taken a long way past the tray-bake norm. British oats, West Country ingredients, Fairtrade brown sugar and real butter, all handmade in Devon, with awards picked up along the way.

The oats are certified gluten-free, a deliberate choice made so that fewer people have to sit it out. Ranges rotate through the year - Easter, Halloween, autumn, Valentine's, Mother's Day and a substantial Christmas line-up with advent calendars, hampers and flapjack towers - alongside vegan flapjacks and ones for dogs. Build your own box from the flavours you actually want, or order a message box with the wording piped in white chocolate.
