Helluva Pasties

Founded by a local family in Callington in 2013, the recipe goes back a couple of generations further - a Gran's pasty, essentially, scaled up carefully rather than cleverly. In 2022 Cath, Rich and Mike, all local business owners, took it on when the founders moved to new things, and the ethos stayed put. It remains an award winning family run business in rural south east Cornwall, and everything is still handmade from start to finish.

Pasties, pies and sausage rolls are the mainstay, alongside frozen ready meals: steak and ale pie under a shortcrust lid, cottage pie with Cornish beef in tomato and red wine, beef bourguignon with bacon, shallots and mushrooms, lasagne, herby meatballs, chilli con carne. All small batch, all blast-frozen to hold the flavour. You will find them in establishments across the South West, or order for nationwide delivery and fill the freezer properly.
