Dartmoor Coffee

Roasting inside the boundaries of Dartmoor National Park, this family-based outfit near Yelverton has been at it since 2020, working on the principle that good coffee is a chain of decisions: where the bean is grown, how the farm processes it, and what happens in the roastery. They test every coffee on their own brewing kit before it goes anywhere, with the stated rule that they need to be excited by it first.

Roasting happens weekly, sometimes twice, and beans go out in one-way degassing bags to hold their freshness. The range includes a Colombian decaf alongside the rest of the list, and they stock brewing equipment too, with AeroPress, Hario V60 and Chemex among it. Postage is free on orders over thirty pounds.
