Truly Treats

Truly Treats is a family-run wholesale bakery based at Rocklands on Exeter Road in Kingsteignton, established in 2010 to supply the catering trade rather than sell direct from a shop front. Everything is made by hand in small batches - cakes, tray-bakes and scones - using local free-range eggs, British sugar and butter, and quality Belgian chocolate, with natural colours and flavours rather than the shortcuts a bigger commercial bakery might take.

The bakery supplies cafes, restaurants and caterers across the UK, and its carrot cake and scones come up again and again as customer favourites. It's a maker rather than a shopfront - the kind of business behind the counter at cafes across the South West rather than one you'd walk into off the street - but it's the reason a lot of local slices of cake taste as good as they do.
