Trevathan Farm

A family run working farm near Port Isaac that has quietly turned itself into somewhere you can stay, eat and shop without leaving the fields behind. There are eleven Cornish holiday cottages on the site, a family friendly restaurant, and a farm shop stocked with what the farm itself grows and rears. Plenty of farms nod at diversification; this one has actually done the work, and the produce still comes off the land around you.

The shop carries their own beef and lamb alongside seasonal fruit and vegetables straight from the field, plus pickles, jams, honey, cheeses, fudge, free range eggs and clotted cream from a local dairy. Some of it you can pick yourself, the rest is ready and waiting. There are farm activities for children, and beaches and walks close by. Ring first to find out what is ripe before you set off.
