Tintagel Brewing Company

Established in 2009 and still independent, this North Cornwall brewery draws its water from springs in the hills above Tintagel and builds its ales from British malts and hops. The purpose-built site holds a brewhouse, gift shop and restaurant with coastal views that Taste of the West judges called the finest in Cornwall. Local roots run deeper than branding: they sponsor Boscastle's Harbour Rowing Club, a community gig club open to anyone aged 12 and over.

Caliburn, the flagship Old Ale, won its category at the Great British Beer Festival Winter and went on to be a Champion Beer of Britain finalist in 2025. Merlin's Muddle, Cornwall's Pride and King Arthur's Ale have all taken honours, and Black Jack Porter returns each November with chocolate, coffee and caramel notes.
