Cornish Rock Gin

Dreamed up on walks along Rock Beach with a dog named Blue, this small batch distillery sits in a wooded valley and takes its cues from the coastline that started it. The still is called Bonanza Boy, after a favourite racehorse, and it has since produced a stable full of spirits. Blue has been succeeded by BluToo, and the operation has grown to include a bottling and distribution plant in Wadebridge.

Gin, whiskey, rum, brandy and liqueurs, distilled in small batches with Cornish spring water, natural ingredients, botanicals and fresh citrus. Every batch is tested and refined, then hand-bottled, stamped and inspected before release. The range runs from Cornish Gold to Mellow Yellow, plus a Pink Gin blended with sparkling Champagne, so worth noting it contains sulphites. Several shops and outlets are dotted around Cornwall, with franchises in Corsham and Dartmouth, and online ordering if none are near.
