The email address gives the location away before anything else does. Bedrooms upstairs mean it works as a base as well as a local, with three nights offered for the price of two, booked online. Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings bring the \u00a345 Steak Night, two mains from a special menu plus a bottle of house wine, and booking is essential. Elsewhere there are stone-baked pizzas including a Pizza Nicoise at \u00a317, extra large Whitby Bay scampi at \u00a319, and a steak and short rib burger with skinny fries. Sundays are plated roasts, including 28-day aged topside, served noon to 4:30pm. Quiz Thursdays at 9pm, music quiz Sundays at 8pm, free to enter.
