Bays Brewery

Bays has been brewing on the Torbay coast for eighteen years, family-run and steadily collecting awards. Three permanent ales - Topsail, Pure Gold and Devon Dumpling - were joined by Devon Rock craft lager in 2015, and the range now stretches to Devon Cove Pale Ale and a one-percent Rock Steady for whoever is driving.

The environmental side is not decoration. Rooftop solar panels help power the brew, spent grains go back out rather than to waste, and a long-running partnership with Paignton Zoo has produced a string of limited-edition beers that have raised more than £30,000 for endangered species work. Crafted to perfection the Devon way, as they put it.
