The Cove Cafe Bar

Devon Life called it "The South West's best craft beach bar by a country mile", which is a big claim for a small place on the South Devon coast. Hope Cove is the setting, and the operation has clearly grown into something more than a stop for a pint after the beach: a restaurant, a roof top, a takeaway hatch and a logo people are happy to wear home.

There are separate menus for the restaurant and for the bar and roof top, the latter running to pizza and tapas, plus breakfast and takeaway lists. Alongside the food they sell their own spirits, gift vouchers and a proper merch range - beanies from £9.50, caps, hoodies in adult and kids sizes, t-shirts, vests, a jacket and a car sticker. Check which menu is running before you settle in, since the roof top and restaurant differ.
