Grass-fed cows, whole milk that is pasteurised but not homogenised, and a Taste of the West gold to show the difference is more than sentiment. Sites sit in and around Exeter, Cullompton and Tiverton, self-serve and open to anyone who turns up with a bottle.

The machines run to more than milk. Expect creamy milkshakes, farm-fresh eggs, locally baked cakes and breads and a small range of soft drinks, all bought at the point you fill up. Buy a reusable glass bottle on your first visit and refills become the easy part.
