Barton Place Farm Shop

A family run farm on the outskirts of Exeter, out on Wrefords Lane, where the shop occupies a roadside barn that opened on 8th August 2014. It is a straightforward arrangement and a rare one: the people growing the produce are the people selling it, a few steps from where it came out of the ground. Worth knowing about if you drive that way and have been meaning to stop.

The shelves carry their own produce alongside things from other local growers and makers, with bread and cakes among them. It is a small operation rather than a sprawling food hall, so treat it as a regular stop rather than a single big shop.
