Rich's Cider

Farm shopCider

Food hygiene rating: 5 out of 5

Cider-making on the Somerset Levels at Highbridge, run by one family across generations and built on apples harvested locally. The working mill sits alongside a museum where original presses and heritage vats do the explaining, a farm shop, and The Cider Press Restaurant, which cooks fresh with local farmers and producers behind it. A new look and a new website are on the way, but the craft underneath it has not gone anywhere.

The range runs from Traditional Farmhouse and Golden Harvest in three-litre pouches to 500ml bottles of Vintage Medium Champion Cider, Sunset Gold dry, Sparkling Perry and the Fused raspberry and blackcurrant. Golden Harvest ZERO and Rich's Press soft drinks cover the drivers. Tours and tastings for 2026 take you behind the scenes of the mill with a guided tasting at the end - book that if you want the full picture rather than just a bottle.
