Flapjackery - Plymouth Shop

The old Yarmouth Stores on Southside Street is a good address for a flapjack shop: the Barbican has been trading in provisions for centuries, and this corner of it now smells of oats and caramel. Opened at the beginning of April 2022, the Plymouth branch went on to take Gold in the Taste of the West Hospitality and Retail Awards, with judges calling it an excellent example of how a retail establishment should present itself.

Giant flapjacks are the point, in flavours from Cherry Bakewell and Dark Chocolate Salted Caramel to Eton Mess, Honeycomb Rocky Road and Lemon Drizzle, with vegan options like Ginger and Peanut Butter and Jam, gluten free bakes and flapjacks for dogs. Boxes of three, six or twelve come ready made or built to order, and seasonal ranges run through the year. Open seven days, 10am to 5pm; Sarah handles corporate orders.
