Bovey Larder

Bovey Larder is a zero-waste shop on Fore Street run by Corin and Rebecca, built around the idea that most larder staples don't need to come wrapped in single-use plastic. Customers bring containers or use the shop's own and buy dry goods, oils and household basics by weight - as much or as little as they need - alongside a wider range of products for a lower-impact everyday life. They also stock local bakery goods, including bread from Hylsten Bakery.

The shop leans into product education as much as retail, with the owners happy to talk through what something is and how to use it rather than just ring it through the till. It's open Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm, and Saturday mornings until 1pm; closed Sundays. The shop holds a 5-star food hygiene rating.
