Wet Fish Shop

Hollie and Dan took on the long-standing fish shop on the Cobb at Lyme Regis in 2018, fresh back from travelling South East Asia, and six years later opened a second counter at Miller's Farm Shop in Kilmington, just off the A35. Dan grew up in Beer and has spent most of his life fishing and on boats; Hollie came to it with a lifelong fear of fish, which has softened somewhat. It remains a small family business with no middle man.

Dan goes to market two or three times a week and the team prepares everything in shop. Expect freshly cooked local crab and lobster, often still warm from the boiler, plus a large selection of prawns and shellfish in the Kilmington freezers. The famous ready to eat shellfish counter, with pots of crab meat, prawns by the pint and large crevettes, sits at the Lyme Regis shop. Oysters appear mainly in summer, but pre-order and they will get them in.
