The Press House

The Press House occupies a former letterpress workshop on Fore Street and has kept the calm that suggests. It is the kind of cafe people settle into for an hour rather than grab and run from, and where good coffee meets good company is the stated aim.

The coffee is by Triple Co Roast and the cakes by Exploding Bakery, with more good things arriving from Cake or Death next door. Brunch is the main event, carefully put together with creative vegan and non-vegan options and a run of speciality iced drinks alongside. The pancakes have their own following.
