Shooters

Shooters is a family-run sports bar on Sandy Lane in Dawlish, built around a big screen and games. Seven screens including a giant projector cover the major sporting fixtures, and when the football isn't on there are two dartboards, a pool table, live bands, DJ nights, karaoke, bingo and monthly themed food nights to fill the gap. A kids' area with an Xbox, a football table and toys keeps the venue genuinely family-friendly rather than just sports-bar-with-a-token-corner, and dogs are welcome too, treats included.

The kitchen keeps things simple and reasonably priced - pizzas, burgers and loaded fries are the mainstays, served alongside a full bar. Outside there's extra seating and a large car park, useful given Dawlish's tight seafront streets. The same team also runs a mobile bar service, taking draught beers and ciders out to weddings and festivals around the area. It's a no-frills, come-as-you-are kind of place, and the near-90 Google reviews and 4.6 rating suggest it delivers consistently on that promise rather than trying to be something it isn't.
