Prime & Preserved

Prime & Preserved is a deli and cheese shop on Sidmouth's High Street, built around a curated counter of local charcuterie, cured meats, cheese and gourmet snacks. The range runs from brie and stilton to handmade crackers, chutneys and luxury spreads, alongside fresh-baked pies and Scotch eggs. There's a coffee counter too, with a loyalty scheme that gives a free hot drink on every seventh visit and no surcharge for oat or other alternative milks.

The shop doubles as a dog-friendly café space, so it's as much a stop for a coffee and a browse as a place to stock up a picnic box or put together a gift hamper. Orders can be placed ahead by text. The shop holds a 5-star food hygiene rating.
