Ivybridge Brewing Co

Set up in 2018 in the heart of Ivybridge, this social enterprise brewery exists to answer a straightforward problem: there simply aren't enough local employers taking on people with learning disabilities. So they built one. Every beer is brewed and packaged by the people they employ and train, paid properly for the work, with a stated vision of a world where individuals with learning disabilities and autism are valued at work and beyond.

It is not-for-profit, which means the beer has to stand up on its own, and CAMRA's Good Beer Guide and Good Beer Yearbook 2023 suggest it does. The tap room runs Thursday to Saturday, 5pm to 9pm, and the shop opens Tuesdays 11am to 1pm and Wednesday to Saturday, 10am to 2pm. Trade buyers after cask, keg or packaged beer should get in touch directly about supply.
