Darts Farm Shopping Village & The Cow and Cacao Cafe

Just outside Exeter, this is a working farm that grew outwards rather than a retail park with a barn attached. The land is still the point: a farm walk and wetlands, fishing ponds, an animal corner and the Pebblebed vineyard sit alongside the food hall, and the shop leans on its own produce and a roster of artisans. The scale is unusual for an independent, but the provenance thinking runs through all of it.

Eating and drinking options are spread across the site - The Yard restaurant, the Cow & Cacao caf", the Farm Table, the Terrace Bar, the Cidery and tastings bar, The Shack and The Fish Shed. The food hall covers master butchers, seasonal veg, a deli and a drinks cellar of craft beer, cider, still and sparkling wines and British spirits. There is also a wellness spa, plus vineyard tours, a maize maze and PYO sunflowers in season. Come with time to spare.
