Behind a factory door on Howden Road in Tiverton sits a confectionery business that operates on two scales at once: copper pots and traditional fudge-making on one hand, scalable chocolate concepts developed to exacting standards on the other. Four brands run out of the Devon site - House of Fudge, The Clarence & Bean Chocolate Company, Radfords Fine Fudge and Morse Toad - with customers around the world and suppliers rather closer to home.

Gourmet fudge is the anchor, made in traditional copper pots from ingredients chosen with as much attention as the external accreditations they hold themselves to. The chocolate side handles concept-to-product development for other businesses. A 50kW solar array on the factory roof and membership of Devon Food & Drink point to where their priorities sit.
