Fore Street has had a fishmonger since the 1950s, and Darren and Emma have been the ones behind the counter since 2010. He started fishing as a boy with his dad and was filleting on Plymouth's fish quay at sixteen; she was the first female skipper of an under-10-metre trawler in the UK, and the two of them met on that same quay. Between them, over 40 years in the industry, all of it visible in the knife work.
