Baobab Deli

Baobab Deli is the second Baobab on Fore Street, run by Eran, whose appetite for putting flavours together and talking people into trying them is the whole point of the place. The counter changes daily rather than running to a fixed menu.

Everything is cooked fresh: stuffed pittas with hummus, the mixed salads of the day and tahini, yellow split pea koftas, quinoa koftas and stuffed roasted peppers, aduki beans with fresh veg and a tomato dressing. Vegan, vegetarian and meat options sit alongside each other, with local products on the shelves behind. Wednesday gets you a stuffed pitta and a drink for £12. Pre-order for collection.
