Tom’s Lyme Regis

Opened in December 2020 by Tom and his father Nick, this family-run restaurant sits on Marine Parade with the bay in full view. The pitch is refined without being precious: seafood first, local produce throughout, menus that shift with the seasons rather than sitting still. Supplier relationships are chosen on quality and sustainability, and classical dishes get a creative twist drawn from what is immediately around them.

Expect premium fish alongside vegetarian and meat dishes, with a drinks list built to match: sparkling wine from Castlewood Vineyard six miles away, local beer and ale, cocktails and wines chosen to pair with the food. The kitchen has won multiple awards, and the family support charities including the Lyme Regis Food Bank and Great Ormond Street Hospital. Friday and Saturday, 5pm to 7pm, is Oyster Happy Hour. Book ahead, and ask for a window.
