The York Inn

The York Inn is among the oldest pubs in Exmouth, presumed to date from around 1742 when it operated under a different name, the Great Tree Inn. It sits on Imperial Road close to the town centre, handy for the bus and rail station, and has stayed a proper local rather than reinventing itself for tourists.

Today it's a busy sports pub with big screens for Sky Sports and TNT Sports, and a beer garden at the rear for anyone after a quieter pint outside. Live music, karaoke and DJ nights run regularly, alongside the usual range of beer, wine, cider and cocktails. The York Inn is at 21 Imperial Road, Exmouth.
