The Queen Vic

The Queen Vic took over The Strand's old Merchant pub in June 2024, when new licensees renamed it and reopened it as a family-run local. It's a large pub with a beer garden at the rear, built for both a proper pint and a full night out rather than one or the other.

St Austell Tribute is the regular on the bar, backed by two rotating guest ales from South West breweries across three handpumps. There's a classic pub food menu, Sky Sports on the screens, and live music nights that draw a crowd from across Exmouth. It stays family-friendly until 9pm, after which the room settles into more of a locals' evening.
