The Grapevine Brewhouse

A family-owned brewpub in Exmouth going since 2010, built around a genuine passion for beer rather than a bolted-on gimmick. It was home to the Crossed Anchors Brewery, launched in 2015 and a four-time Taste of the West Gold Award winner, before the brewery outgrew the site and moved to Exeter in 2025 - the Grapevine itself carries on with the same beer-first approach.

The bar runs 14 keg lines on rotation plus at least three cask ales and up to three ciders at any time, alongside continental beers and lagers. Food comes from the award-winning Ruby Kitchen, which has licensed the Grapevine's kitchen since January 2017 and serves burgers, specials, salads, shakes and waffles built from Devon ingredients. Regular live music keeps the atmosphere going beyond just a drinking spot.
