Food hygiene rating: 5 out of 5

The Crafty Badger bills itself as Teignmouth's first interactive tap house, a taphouse-and-games setup on Regent Street run by The Bar Group. It's open every day of the week from 11am to 11pm, screens the big sporting fixtures - rugby and football both get a look-in - and leans hard into value, with house lager advertised at a flat £3 a pint.

The games side is a big part of the pitch: darts and interactive gaming sit alongside the usual pub fittings, and there's a weekly Sunday mega meat draw at 4.30pm that's become a fixture. Live music runs on weekends, duos and solo acts mostly, with strictly-house DJ nights on Fridays, and the bar takes an active hand in local events like Teignmouth Carnival. It's a newer opening built around real ales and craft beer rather than a food menu, aimed at the town-centre evening crowd more than daytime passing trade.
