The Bar

The Bar sits on Teign Street in the middle of Teignmouth, a cocktail and wine bar built around a small, cosy room rather than a big open floor. The team mix classic and original cocktails to order, run a wine list alongside them, and put together charcuterie and cheese boards to go with the drinks rather than a full kitchen menu - food here is a side dish to what's in the glass.

There's a happy hour running seven days a week, and live music or a DJ most Friday and Saturday nights, with the bar actively booking local musicians rather than relying on a house playlist. It also takes private hire bookings and runs cocktail masterclasses for groups wanting to learn the trade rather than just drink the results. Open daily from 11am to 11pm, it's built for a relaxed evening out with friends or a small celebration rather than a big night out crowd.
