Mount Pleasant Inn

The Mount Pleasant Inn sits on the clifftop above Dawlish Warren, with views across the bay towards Exmouth from the dining area - a beautiful old pub with a genuinely cosy interior. The menu changes with the seasons and leans on local Devon produce sourced from markets, fields, rivers and the sea, and the Sunday Carvery is the signature booking, running from noon to four with tables going quickly.

Beyond the carvery there's a full lunch and dinner menu with a children's option, light bites like warm sandwiches and salads, and a specials board that changes regularly, finished off with what regulars describe as tempting, well-presented desserts.
