Little Hollacombe Farm

Little Hollacombe Farm is a family-run free-range egg farm at Welcombe, on the Devon-Cornwall border near Bideford, run by Andrew and Sharon Jeffery since 2010. The farm keeps hens across a multi-aged site so fresh eggs are available year-round rather than in seasonal gaps, and every egg is graded to Class A standard and stamped with the farm's own identification numbers.

The farm belongs to the Laid In Britain scheme, which requires independent auditing and salmonella testing of the flock every 14 weeks - a scheme under which no egg sold has ever tested positive. Eggs have also picked up Gold awards from Taste of the West and Taste of the West Champion recognition. Customers can buy direct from the on-site egg shop at Welcombe Cross, on the A39 between Bideford and Bude, or get free delivery to the surrounding area on set days each week.
