Making ice cream in Dartmouth since 1928 gives you a claim few can match: one of the oldest ice cream companies in the South West, and still the only ice cream actually made in the town. It is owned by dairy farmer Andrew and run as a small family business, with the flavours and sorbets produced at the on-site dairy in the heart of Dartmouth rather than bought in from elsewhere.
Alongside the ice cream, fudge is made in a traditional kettle at their flagship store, The Good Intent, with bespoke flavours available for special occasions. The shops in Dartmouth and Kingsbridge also stock award winning local produce - biscuits, preserves, oils and tea. If you are not passing through, the cream teas, fudge gift boxes and Devon hampers all go by post, with a handwritten card included.
