Boo Chi Kombucha

Brewing out of Newton Abbot, Boo Chi came from a straightforward conviction: that kombucha can still be made and sold the way it has been in the far east for generations. Traditional method, modern wellness framing, and one whole organic ingredient doing the flavouring rather than a list of extracts. They also reckon each brew comes out ever so slightly different depending on the music it has been played, which tells you something about the temperament of the place.

The core range runs in cases of twelve 330ml bottles, each named for what it is meant to do: Balance is the original, Brighten uses turmeric, Boost Korean ginseng, Revive fresh mint, Replenish fresh strawberry and Reignite fresh ginger. There is a River Cottage line too, covering Wild Berry Fizz, Apple and Mint Spritz and Cloudy Lemonade. Gently sparkling, with a hint of rose.
