Red Lion Inn

Pub

Food hygiene rating: 5 out of 5

The Red Lion Inn is a Grade II listed former coaching inn on Fore Street in Sidbury, in the heart of the Sid Valley within the East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, looking out over the Saxon-founded St Giles church. It is family and pet-friendly, with a garden, a function room, traditional pub games and en-suite rooms for anyone staying over.

The kitchen cooks fresh, locally sourced food to order with daily specials, served Tuesday to Saturday, lunchtimes from noon to 2pm and evenings from 6pm to 9pm, with no food service on Mondays or Sundays. The bar carries a solid range of draught and traditional real ales alongside the food, and breakfast is available for overnight guests. It is closed to food trade on Mondays but the bar itself keeps varied hours through the week including Sunday afternoons.
