Food hygiene rating: 5 out of 5

Aberdeen Angus cattle, reared on family farms in the Blackdown Hills and at Payhembury, are the whole basis of this operation. The approach is deliberately traditional: grass fed animals, beef hung for three to four weeks, then prepared by an award winning Master Butcher. It is a short chain with no supermarket in the middle, and buying it puts money back into the rural economy around Hemyock rather than somewhere else entirely.

Boxes are built to your specification. You choose the size of the joints and steaks, and the balance of diced beef, extra lean mince, sausages and burgers. Everything is packed chilled on the farm and reaches you within 24 hours of leaving the fridges, delivered anywhere in the country - home, office, or even your car. Work out how much freezer space you have first, then get in touch to discuss what goes in.
