The Point Exmouth

Set on Exmouth Marina rather than the busier seafront, this is the waterside spot where the boats do the entertaining and nobody rushes you. It is now owned by Maisie, who also runs The Beach Pub and La Mar, and that change has brought fresh energy to a long-loved place. Dogs are welcome, walk-ins are fine, bookings are taken, and the whole thing stays unfussy in a way that suits the view.

Doors open at 8:30am daily for coffee, homemade cakes, fresh breakfasts and brunch with a twist, cooked to order using local suppliers. There is a private space for up to 25, useful for meetings, christenings, baby showers, wakes and small family gatherings, plus live jazz nights and cheeseboards. Service is daytime only for now, with evenings, pizzas, charcuterie and marina sunsets planned to return in the spring.
