The Grampus sits in the heart of one of Britain's most picturesque villages, a short walk up from Lee Beach. Parts of the building date back to the 14th century and it was a working farm until the 1970s; now a free house, it is a favourite with residents and holidaymakers in roughly equal measure.

It is a village pub, a brewery and a distillery at once - real ales brewed on site, Grampus Gin distilled there too using locally sourced botanicals, and a wine list designed for them by Louis Barroul, a grower of fantastic biodynamic wines. All the food is home cooked on the premises, with free-range, locally sourced meat, poultry, fish and eggs, and they do their best by vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and raw diets. Open mic every Friday from 8pm.
