Salcombe Distilling Company

Salcombe Gin is made at a waterside distillery on Island Street, and the coastal connection runs deeper than the branding. Every bottle of Four Seas supports the RNLI, a partnership with the Marine Conservation Society funds no-anchor zones protecting vital seagrass habitats, and even the miniatures have switched to aluminium.

The Gin School is the reason to book rather than just drop in. It holds a TripAdvisor Travellers' Choice award, and takes you through how they distil before you create your own recipe and leave with a 70cl bottle of it, a Salcombe & Tonic in hand throughout. There is a bar and a shop at The Boathouse for anyone who would rather simply drink it.
