Hunt's was established by N.P. Hunt in South Devon in 1805, and Richard and Annette - his great-great-great-great-grandchildren - run it today from Broadleigh Farm. Two centuries of tradition is a lot to carry, and they have managed it by keeping the traditional methods while letting modern machinery take the strain.
The ciders are fermented fresh from the highest quality Devon apples, and in May 2024 they added Hunt's Fruit Cider - elderflower, mango and passionfruit, and raspberry - for lighter drinking in the sun. Tours run every Wednesday from 2pm to 4pm through the summer at £17.50 a ticket, including a generous tasting. Delivery is free to Torbay and South Devon.
