Honey Wood Orchard

Honey Wood is a small family cider farm outside Great Torrington, working towards organic and planted with 450 trees across 65 varieties - heritage North Devon apples, laid out using traditional methods. The scale tells you what kind of cider this is going to be.

Everything goes from field to bottle on site, and they are happy to show you how: how the orchard was laid out, which apples go into each bottle, and how the juicing works. Recent harvests have been generous enough to split branches under the weight of the crop. Eric, for the record, approves of the juice.
