Four friends - Hannah, Lee, Matt and Rachel - launched Hanlees in 2023 with a simple pitch: quick food for foodies. The help-yourself salad bar is the signature, backed by soups, broths, hot pasta, gourmet sandwiches and jacket potatoes.

Sat between Southernhay and the High Street, it is the answer to the eternal weekday question of a lunch that is fast without being sad.
