Dartmoor Brewery

Dartmoor Brewery has been brewing at Princetown since 1994 - England's highest brewery, purpose-built, and thirty years into making beer that tastes of where it comes from. Beer with altitude, as they put it, and the description holds up.

Jail Ale is the famous one and still the original, backed by the mighty Legend and the golden Dartmoor IPA, with a shelf of Taste of the West awards behind them. The brewery runs 100 Casks for 100 Causes, donating casks to local and regional fundraising, and the beer is best met the way it was intended: after a long walk on the moor, in good company.
