Crossed Anchors Brewing

Crossed Anchors have been brewing quality beer with a local touch since 2015, collecting a stack of brewers' awards along the way. The Water Lane site sits on the stretch of Exeter's canal side that is slowly being brought back to life, and its tap is one of three brew pubs alongside The Grapevine and The Old Firestation.

Beer flights are the way in if you cannot choose, and there is plenty to work through - an adventurous core range plus limited-edition cans in eye-catching designs. To take it home, the 5 and 10 litre boxes come brewery-fresh straight from the pump with a seven-day shelf life, which works out at roughly a beer a day. Delivery is free across EX1 to EX9.
