Cabin Coffee House

Cabin Coffee House works from a small shopfront at 7 Parade, a short walk from Exmouth seafront, and the interior does a lot of the work: houseplants, big windows and a cozy, slightly funky fit-out that reviewers keep coming back to as much as the coffee. Specialty coffee and cake are the focus, with pastries and quick savouries alongside, and there's a good spread of gluten-free treats on the counter.

It opens early - 7.30am Monday to Saturday, 8am on Sundays, both till 2pm - which suits it to a coffee before work as much as a leisurely one after. The cafe takes part in Too Good To Go, selling surplus food at a discount rather than binning it at the end of the day. Locally sourced cakes and friendly, efficient service come up again and again in reviews, and it holds a 4.6 rating built on a genuinely large number of them.
