Buckfast Farm Shop

Buckfast Farm Shop is a small shop at Lower Mills on Buckfast Road, on the edge of the village of Buckfast near Buckfastleigh. It sells a changing selection of local homemade produce - fresh fruit and vegetables, bread, eggs, pastries and pasties among them, along with cakes and other baking that rotates through the year. It's the kind of shop that fills in around what local growers and bakers have that week rather than running a fixed catalogue, and the owners also take a stall at nearby farmers' markets, including Buckfastleigh's.

There's a small cafe on site too, so it works as a stop for a bite to eat as well as a shop for ingredients - somewhere to pick up a pasty and a coffee rather than just grab groceries and go. It's a short walk from Buckfast Abbey and the River Dart, making it a natural stop for anyone visiting either. The shop is open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm, and Saturday 9am to 5pm; closed Sundays.
