Wings and Things trades from a stall at Exeter's Guildhall Foodmarket on the High Street, bringing the bold, comforting flavours of Cebu in the Philippines to the city centre. The chef trained formally in international cuisine before turning that grounding toward the Cebuano food of home, and the stall has built a following for doing Filipino street food properly rather than as a novelty.

The bestseller is the chicken wings - crispy, golden Filipino-style fried wings that are the reason most people first find the stall - alongside stir-fried noodles with vegetables and hand-rolled lumpia, crispy outside and savoury inside. It's open daily from 11am to 5pm, available to eat there or take away, and also runs event catering under the Filipino Fiesta Food name for birthdays, weddings and corporate parties from around £20 a head. It also delivers via Deliveroo and Just Eat for anyone not making it to the market itself.
